" The snacks here are definitely authentic and taste great, especially the Fafda and Kachori. But I found the service to be very hit or miss. One visit, the staff were kind, and the food was fresh. On my next visit, they were quite rude. The atmosphere is non-existent since there’s no dine-in option. " While on a short visit to Toronto, I made a stop at Sai-Lila. I had heard about their Dhoklas, and they did not disappoint. However, I expected a bit more from the staff interaction. They were busy and seemed uninterested in engaging with customers. The food was quite good, but it would be nice to feel a warmer vibe upon entering the shop. " Here’s the truth: Sai-Lila Khaman Dhokla House has some of the best authentic Gujarati food I have tasted abroad. Their Khaman is soft, spicy, and delicious. On the flip side, I wish they'd invest in better service training for their staff, who can come off as disinterested. " I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the snacks at Sai-Lila Khaman Dhokla House. The Kachori and Dhokla were delightful, and I appreciated how everything is vegetarian. The only downside was the very little seating available as it’s eat-in only, the restaurant could do better to improve upon that.
